This application note demonstrates the feasibility of a
complete RF amplifier using Motorola LDMOS transistors in
Class AB. The complete design requires standard piece parts
and components only yet exhibits superior performance in
terms of gain, efficiency, power and ruggedness in a GSM 900
MHz base station environment.
