介绍了一种基于机器视觉的大张钞票离线检测系统。分析了系统原理,点阵字符分割
算法及识别方法。提出了利用图形边缘模板匹配搜寻特征点自动提取ROI 区域,通过计算连通区域包含像素进一步去除噪声的方法。系统实现了大张钞票的实时检测标废。试验表明识别速度为15 张/秒,废品指示准确率为100%。

Abstract: A system based on machine vision for off-line checking the printing quality of bank note was proposed. The principle of the system, the segmentation algorithm of dot characters and recognisition method are introduced. Using Shape edge template matching technique to find the feature point and abstract the area of ROI automatically, calculate number of the pixels that the connected areas have to remove noise further. The system realize real-time detecting of banknotes. Experiments show the processing and recognisition speed is 15 papers per second, the instruction accuracy is 100%.
