Agilent’s lightwave converter,
the Agilent 11982A, combines a
PIN photodetector with a low-
noise preamplifier to provide a
general-purpose front-end for
lightwave frequency- and time-
domain measurements. It can
be used with Agilent spectrum
analyzers, oscilloscopes, bit-
error-rate testers (BERT), and
network analyzers, as well as
with other manufacturers’
instrumentation.
