    So far, my ICD4 works fine with my PIC32MZ2048EFM144. There is the yellow dot because it isn't technically fully supported, but it still programs fine in the IPE v4.05 and debugs & programs fine in the IDE v4.05.
 
I've also tested against the dsPIC30F6012A and it appears to be good there too, despite the yellow dot of not being fully certified supported. The debugging isn't working, but the error is pointing to me probably not having my new icd4 settings configured properly. In the project properties I have to tell it what my pgc and pgd settings and pull/up pull/downs are. (I haven't played with it extensively yet.)
