保存到USB软盘驱动器时DSO7104A有时会重新启动

我一直在使用其中一个带有DSO7104A的USB软盘驱动器。
在此应用程序中无法使用拇指驱动器。
偶尔,当我按下“保存”按钮时,DSO7104A会重新启动。

try a different USB stick.  has to be a FAT format, and it can't ID itself as a CD drive (some older ones do).

  The only officially supported devices on this scope are USB memory sticks. It is not a PC, and doesn't have the drivers to support anything else. You might try using your Floppy Drive with a powered hub in the middle to see if it's a problem with too much power drain by the drive. I'm not sure if the scope will support the hub, though.

  Thanks for your reply.

The reboot only occurs occasionally, maybe 1 out of 10 times. When the scope doesn't reboot, I'm able to save files to a diskette in the USB floppy drive. So, it's not a drive format issue or a software driver issue. 

It's odd to me that if it's a power problem the entire scope would reboot; seems like the USB port's power source would fold back, preventing a file-save operation but leaving the scope's other power supplies at normal levels.

Another note: I haven't seen the scope reboot when the diskette drive first mounts, i.e., after I first plug the USB cable into the scope; reboot has only happened when I push the 'Save' button.

  Sounds like your device is sitting right at the edge of the power capabilities of that scope.

If your device draws down system power, then I can see where it cause a reboot.

I can also see that the problem would only surface when you try to save data. I suspect that's when the motor in the disk drive is trying to spin up the disk, and it draws the most power.

The only way to verify what's happening would be to build a fixture that would allow you to look at the voltage and current on the USB bus.

I just thought of a potential solution... I have seen 'Y' cables that allow 2 USB ports to drive one device, in fact I have a few on USB hard drives. If you use one of those, connected to an external supply, you might be able to avoid this problem.
