E4438C网络不起作用

我正在尝试将arb文件加载到设备上。
唯一可行的配置是直接连接到设备的Windows XP笔记本电脑。
每个地址都设置为同一C类网络范围内的唯一地址。
以相同方式配置的Windows 7笔记本电脑不起作用。
Linux工作站也不起作用。
该设备上的固件已升级到最新版本（奇怪的是，在Linux笔记本电脑上使用Windows 7 VM成功完成）有关如何让该设备在普通网络上运行的任何建议吗？

  I am trying to load arb files onto the unit.  The only configuration that seems to work is a Windows XP laptop directly connected to the unit.  Each has its address set to a unique address in the same Class C network range.  A Windows 7 laptop configured the same way does not work.  A Linux workstation also do not work.  The firmware on the unit has been upgraded to the latest version (curiously enough successfully done with a Windows 7 VM on a Linux laptop)   

Any suggestions on how to get this unit to work on a normal network?
