I have just installed ISE 14.7 system edition, and linked System Generator to MATLAB(2014a). But when I try to open simulink to play with Xilinx System Generator for DSP blockset, the Matlab command window shows the following warnings:

"Warning: Cannot find path "C:Xilinx214.7ISE_DSISEbinnt64" in "PATH" environment.
Cannot find path "C:Xilinx214.7ISE_DSISElibnt64" in "PATH" environment. The
libraries under the path are needed to simulate and netlist designs using blocks from
Xilinx System Generator for DSP blockset.
Cannot find path "C:Xilinx214.7ISE_DSPlanAheadbin" in "PATH" environment.
To make sure that your design simulates and netlists with Xilinx blockset as expected it
is required that you start MATLAB using "Xilinx Design ToolsISE Design Suite
14.7System GeneratorSysgen Generator" from All Programs menu under Windows Start
button."


Is this related to environment variable settings?  I have run the batch file "settings64" after the installation completed.
In the installation guide, there is a step I don' t quite follow:
(When installation is complete, the installation program creates an environment variable
batch file. All appropriate Desktop and Program Group shortcuts call this file before
launching the target application. A shortcut to a command-line prompt which sets the
environment has been created. The shortcut is located at Xilinx Design Tools > ISE Design
Suite 14.2 > Accessories > ISE Design Suite 32 (or 64) Bit Command Prompt.
To set environment variables in make or script files:
Add settings32.bat or settings64.bat to
your script. The numbers 32 or 64 corresponds to the bit-width of the operating system
installed on the computer)

Maybe the step is the critical factor causing the Matlab warnings?
