无法更改日志记录设备上的内容

    I have following project and need some advice.
1. I have set of 10 logging devices. Each device logs to a u*** flash drive. Basically creates a text file in root of u***.
2. I have pic 32 which I need to use to some how retrieve text files from each logging device. I cannot change an thing on logging devices since support is frozen.

I'm thinking of designing a circuit with mechincal relays to switch u*** flash drive as follows:

1. On normal scenario, u*** flash drive will connect to logging device.
2. If I want to retrieve text files from u*** I will activate relay to switch u*** flash drive to pic so I can read u*** and get data. At this point the u*** flash drive will be disconnected from logging device.
3. After retrieved text files, switch back via relay so u*** flash drive connects back to logging device.

My question is can I use low power relay on u*** signal lines? D+,D- ,POWER ,GND. I cannot afford to blow up u*** port on logging device since it's out of support. Any advice that could help?

Logging device is u*** 2.0 interface.

    I would redo the logging devices. If something is not supported, it will eventually break and you will have to redo them anyway.
 
Also, you can make your PIC32 look like a flash drive to your logging device using USB OTG. Then you will be able to get the data and do whatever you want with it.
 
Relays will certainly work. As I remember, USB connectors are made to close contacts in certain order, so you may need a set of relays to emulate this. Also, RF relays for D+/D- lines may be needed if you use high speed USB.
