I believe you can do this with the 34950A Digital IO card for the 34980A using buffered (memory) IO. There will be about ½ clock cycle timing uncertainty. The 34950A is a rather complex card so it takes some experimentation to get it to do exactly what you want, but the User’s Guide should will eventually get you there.
