I am planning to use the Spartan XC6SLX4 in the CSG225 package for a new design and am wondering about the D0-D15 pins.

According to the Configuration User Guide UG380, the XC6SLX4 can't do parallel configuration.

Yet in the Packaging and Pinout Specification UG385, for the LX4 in CSG225 package, there are pins called "D0-D15" multi-function pins.

My question is, if you can't do parallel configuraton then why show D0-D15 multifunction pins ?

Thanks for the reply, but in the Spartan 6 Configuration User Guide UG380 v2.2 on page 28 it says (exact quote)

"SelectMAP is not available in XC6SLX4 devices or devices using TQG144 or CPG196 packages."

The way I read that statement is ..... SelectMAP is not available in XC6SLX4 devices.

Maybe have a few peple read it and go with the majority interpretation.
