Abstract: Firstly, the hierarchy and work principle of the multifunctional testing system based
on USB 2.0 are introduced in this article. Then taking data acquisition module，data storage
module , USB 2.0 interface for example，it discusses in detail the function and design of the
system hardware. In the end，the system software structure，the design of instrument driver and  virtual instrument software are analyzed in detail.
