is used to communicate with Sound Terminal evaluation kits and requires a third-party driver to operate correctly. Driver is available from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm

Though FTDI driver is already included in the APWorkbench setup package its installation will be completed only once an actual APWLink I/F is connected to the PC, via USB. If this does not happen the communication with such I/F will be disabled.

Note that APWorkbench can still be operated either in simulation mode (no communication with any actual IC/device) or through an http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF258331
, if available. Also, STAudioHub interface is recommended for ST MEMS Microphone evaluation.
