如何对校准集应用功率校准?

您好,我正在使用SCPI命令控制N5222A。
我能够执行并保存简单的源校准,然后执行并保存ECal校准。
但是,得到的校准集仅包含ECal校准而不是Power Cal(当我查看校准集信息时,我看到“4P / 1-2-3-4”而不是预期的“4P + / 1-2-”

  Hello,

I am controlling an N5222A using SCPI commands. I am able to perform and save a simple source cal, and then perform and save an ECal calibration. However, the resulting Cal Set only contains the ECal calibration and not the Power Cal (when I look at the Cal Set information, I see "4P/1-2-3-4" instead of the expected "4P+/1-2-3-4". It seems an extra step is needed to apply the Power Cal to the Cal Set. Does anyone know how to do this?

  Instead of performing the ECal and source power cal separatly, you'll need to perform a "Guided Power Calibration".  this calibration method combines the source power calibration with your choice of S-Parameter calibration (i.e ECal or Mechanical) and creates a calset that has both S-Parameter error terms and the required source power offset with the added benefit of response power corrections for each of the receivers in your cal.

Here are the relevant commands for enabling the power calibration during your guided calibration session.

  Also note that the guided power cal has several other attributes:
1) it allows doing a source cal on any port, and then transferring it to any and all other ports of the VNA, without redoing the power meter measurement. (it uses the S-parameter cal to compute the transfer functions).
2) It performs a receiver cal on the same port as the power sensor, and then transfers that cal to all the other ports.  So now, you have both  Source and Recevier calibrations (plus all ratios of receivers) and all S-parameters
3) it provides for match corrected power, so that mismatch error between the port and the DUT will be removed.  Note: this mismatch correction can be turned off under the Cal:Manage Cal:Corrections Methods dialog, so that it returns only response correction for receivers (full cal is still done on the S-parameters).
4) All the receivers and ratios are also calibrated in phase, so you can use the input from any ports to measure relative phase between signals.
5) all the corrections, including source and receiver cal, can have fixturing, de-embedding, port-Z converion and port matching applied.

  Thank you all for your responses. I was able to succesfully use the Guided Power Cal code, followed by Guided ECal code, to perform a comprehensive calibration.

I am wondering now though, if is it possible to combine the Guided Power Cal with an Unguided ECal operation?
