When I bought NUC7PJYH I planned to use a budget 4K TV as a monitor for it.  For that, it is critical to support 4K (3840x2160) resolution at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sub-sampling. Since this is a part of HDMI 2.0 specification, I expected, that any HDMI 2.0 capable TV would work. Surprisingly, after a half-year research I could not find a 4K TV compatible with NUC7PJYH at HDMI 2.0. As a result, a $400 pc (NUC+Mem+SSD) is just lying around for half a year and waiting for a compatible TV to appear.  It looks like HDMI 2.0 support in Gemini Lake CPUs is “partial” at best and behaves very differently with different TV brands.

A compatible TV should pass at least these basic tests (important for normal everyday usage):

• 4K-60-444 – It possible to configure the TV to work under Windows in native 4K resolution at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling.
• NUC logo at POST – NUC logo is shown at boot time
• BIOS – After pressing F2 at boot time one can get into BIOS (and see it).
• PC sleep-wake – After suspending PC and waking it back the normal picture appears.
• TV sleep-wake – After suspending TV and waking it back the normal picture appears.

I would greatly appreciate if you could share your positive/negative experience regarding TV models compatible with NUC7PJYH or NUC7CJYH. It might help me and other users in their search of a compatible TV.
