  If you aren't aware of it, the focus that is user accesible on the side of the instrument is just the fine adjustment. There is a course adjustment on the backside of the monitor as well. This isn't something that you can access even with the instrument cover off without a custom made tool. You will need to lift the monitor assembly up out of the chassis to access this course adjustment. The access hole through the monitor case is near to where the control wires run through the case. BE CAREFULL OF THE HIGH VOLTAGES
