With IgnoreRemoteRequests = TRUE, a completely new Excel process is opened. It is not the same Excel opening another workbook. Check the Task manager and you would see two Excel processes running - both are totally independent. You can close the process not used by VEE any time, VEE continues normally. In other words, one Excel process is dedicated to VEE. We can continue to use Excel for other tasks - even to view the workbook being updated by VEE itself. This IgnoreRemoteRequests is pretty powerful. |
