7V以上的偏置是否会对E5061B-3LF端口造成损坏?

  We have an E5061B-3LF with the DC bias source option, and the DC output ranges from -40V to 40V.  This DC output can be tied to either a separate output OR to Port 1, which has a maximum allowable DC voltage of 7V.

I would like to output the DC bias through Port 1 so it is applied directly to my DUT, and am wondering if biases above 7 V will cause damage to the port.  Since the internally generated DC bias does go up to 40 V, I would imagine that there is an internal bias-T that prevents the DC voltage generated by the internal DC source from reaching the front-end of Port 1.  Of course, I would like verification of this before trying it out!

The E5061B-3L5 has internal bias tee circuit which can output DC bias (-40V to 40V) at Port1.
So, you can output DC bias through Port 1 that can be applied directly to your DUT.

As for the maximum allowable DC voltage of 7V, it is the case that user inject the external DC bias.
As the  E5061B is 50ohm terminated, in this case the E5061B need to source/sink more than 100mA DC current that is maximum allowable DC current.

I also would like to note that external DC bias voltage must be in the range of "(DC bias setting of the E5061B) +- 7V" when user set DC bias of the E5061B. For example, if the E5061B DC bias is set to +10V at Port1 and Port1 is connected to Voltage regulator output port that drive DC output, it's output voltage must be in the range of +3V to +17V(+5V to +15V is recommended to keep the E5061B DC current within 100mAdc).
