Option 431 can easily generate all the modulation types you mentioned, except for OFDM. 

For OFDM, you could purchase the Agilent systemVue software to combine with our signal generators for signal generation. 

We recommend purchasing option 431, but if you have tight budget, it’s okay to buy the ARB only, and you can use your Matlab for waveform generation and download into the N5172B. 

Or...   Option 431 can always be added later as a post-sale retrofit.  Order N5172BU-431, it is a customer installable license key.

Option 660 is a hardware option to enable the real time baseband generator for advaned signal generation, like GSM, WCDMA and LTE etc. Option 431 is a software license to enable real time custom digital modulation, and it doesn't require option 660.
